Melissa joined W Tax Group in June 2026 with 3 years of experience in tax resolution, specializing in client consultations, IRS resolution strategies, and guiding clients through every step of the process. She is currently pursuing the IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) credential. Melissa works directly with individuals and business owners to understand their unique tax situations, explain their options, and make a stressful experience feel manageable through clear communication and honest guidance. She believes every client deserves honesty, respect, and compassion — someone in their corner who genuinely cares about achieving the best possible outcome. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with her boys, exploring parks and campgrounds, and continually learning new skills.

Catherine has been with W Tax Group for 2 years and brings 9 years of tax resolution experience, with a specialty in federal and varied state negotiations and compliance. She speaks with clients about their federal and state negotiations, obtains and completes financial forms and documentation, and builds the full picture of each client’s tax story.
For Catherine, hearing a client’s long exhale of relief after they’ve allowed her to assist them is exhilarating — earning their trust that she will always speak honestly and openly about their situation. Outside of work, she plays piano and writes and sings music as her church’s music director, serves her community with the Order of the Eastern Star, and helps individuals through a food and housing assistance program.
