No, a phone call with us will work perfectly. If you are in the Southfield, Michigan area, feel free to schedule a free meeting with us at our offices. Otherwise, we work with taxpayers across the USA, regardless of their location.

Can I Schedule a time with you?

How long does the consultation take?

It varies depending upon the complexity of your situation, we are not in a rush and want to fully understand your situation so we are best able to help you. In general you should plan on having at least 15 minutes available to get quick answers and 30 minutes or more, for a more detailed question and answer session.

What happens in the consultation?

The purpose of the consultation is to hear and answer your questions, and assess your options for reaching a tax relief solution with the IRS. We will:

  • Ask you what the IRS is doing to collect your back taxes or what notifications they have sent.

  • Gather information from you that will help us determine what caused your tax problem and how we can resolve your situation.

  • Explain your options.

Will I need all my tax information in front of me for the consultation?

No. If you have a copy of any notices you have received from the IRS it can be helpful, but not required. The more information you have on hand the more questions we can accurately answer.

Do I need to decide whether to work with you during the consultation?

No. We want you to make an informed, considered decision. After the free consultation, our tax consultant will email you the information discussed and everything you need to get started. Is the call confidential?

Do you ask for my Social Security Number or credit card info in the consultation?

No. There is no need to take your payment information because the consultation is 100% free. We only need your social security number if you choose to work with us and want more detailed information about your standing with the IRS.

Can you tell me how much I owe the IRS? Can you tell me the amount of my refund?

Once you are a client we can contact the IRS on your behalf and pull detailed records of your tax history. This is normally when a social security or EIN is needed. Until then, you can obtain this information by calling the IRS Tax Helpline directly at 800-829-1040.
